CHARACTERISTICS
The single-stage, air cooled, rotary vane compressors, RF and RFL type, designed and manufactured to work for 24 hours continuously, are suitable for compressing, besides air, also a large part of most common industrial gases, for instance: Butane - Methane - Propane - Ethylene - Biological Gas - Hydrogen - Refinery Gas - Carbon Dioxide - Ammonia - Freon etc.
The blades, when working, spread the lubricating oil on the machine internal face as a protective film, which permits the compression, without problems, also of solvent or fundamentally corrosive gases.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
A cylindrical rotor turns eccentrically in a cylindrical stator of a larger diameter: the result is a free half-moon shaped space.
Stratified plastic blades slide freely into the rotor slots. These blades, when the rotor turns, are pressed against the internal face of the stator because of the centrifugal force so forming small cells, the volume of which passes from a maximum to a minimum during the rotation.
The suction takes place through ports in the stator and in the area of the increasing volumes; the discharge takes place through ports in the stator and in the area of the decreasing volumes at a given level depending on the foreseen discharge pressure.

ADVANTAGES OF ROTARY VANE COMPRESSORS
SIMPLE AND ECONOMIC MAINTENANCE
The reduced number of parts in motion causes reduced wear, simplifies the assembly and the disassembly and consequently assures a simple and economic maintenance also due to the large size of the single components.

UNCHANGEABLE AND HIGH EFFICIENCY
The efficiency of these machines is high and does not alter in time because the blades on the compressor, automatically slide out in their rotor slots to continuously adjust for wear.
No more speeding up to compensate and no more putting up with poor performance. Our compressors maintain near-original efficiency and capacity throughout the life of the blades.

CONTINUOUS OUTLET FLOW
The outlet flow is continuous (no pulsations) avoiding, in many cases, the use of tanks for the compressed gas.

NO VIBRATIONS
Our machines are compact and balanced, requiring limited foundations and do not transmit appreciable vibrations when functioning.

COMPRESSION COMPLEMENTARY OPERATIONS
FILTRATION
We can offer several types of filters suitable for all appliances.

COOLING AND OIL SEPARATION
We can offer tubular coolers with a large exchange surface and with minimum discharge loss, suitable for cooling the air or the compressed gas at a temperature superior, even only of few grades, to the temperature of the available water.
At the bottom of the cooler a cyclonic separator normally collects the condensates.
We supply and apply high efficiency oil separators for improving the oil separation, which has already partially occurred in the cyclonic separator at the bottom of the compressor in order to obtain oil residuals of only a few ppm.

REGULATION
Frequently the plant does not require all the gas or the air that the machine compresses continuously.
Our technical and commercial offices are at the Clients' disposal for suggestions regarding the best regulation system for any installation.
