INTRODUCTION
This is a safety device (SAV) which quickly intercepts gas flow when the pressure it is monitoring reaches a pre-set limit due to any anomaly in the system, or when required by the operator at installation point or from remote point.
MAIN FEATURES Intervention for overpressure and/or underpressure. Manual push-button control at installation point. 3 way solenoid valve for remote control available on request. Manual resetting. Periodical maintenance without dismantling valve from piping. By pass built-in. Possible installation with pressure controller at above and or at bottom; only the overpressure version calls for a slight alteration when installed with the pressure controller at bottom to counteract the weight of the moving parts. Body design pressure: according to flanging class for flanges NP16 and ANSI 150; 19 bars for flanges NP40. Design pressure of diaphragm casings: 16 bars. Working temperature and room temperature: -20°C to +60°C. Flanging: NP16 UNI 2240-67 with sealing surfaces UNI 2229-67 with phonographic grooving; NP40 UNI 2242-67 and ANSI 150 B 16.5 on request.
Flanging NP16 is provided with the body made of Meehanite cast iron or steel; other flangings are only for the steel body.
